But - it will be here before you know it and while I'm trying to survive all the grading I need to do for fall semester I'm also thinking about my Assessment and Evaluation course I'll be teaching this spring. I'm planning on using DEC's NEW Young Exceptional Children Monograph No. 13: Gathering Information to Make Informed Decisions: Contemporary Perspectives about Assessment in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education.
Visit the DEC store (http://www.dec-sped.org/Store/YEC_Monograph_Series) to learn more about Monograph 13 and others in the series.
I'll be sharing how I'm learning to help students ge more out of textbooks and how I'll be using the monograph in coming weeks. I'd love to hear from other members in terms of their reactions to the articles and/or how they are using the Monograph in preserivce or inservice training efforts.
